A Journey Rooted in Passion and Perseverance

Early Beginnings:

From trading work for practice time at Hefner Golf Course to rewriting golf instruction, Todd Graves’ journey is a testament to passion and innovation. Discover how an 11-year-old prodigy became the guardian of Moe Norman’s revolutionary swing.

Career Highlights:

  • Collegiate walk-on victory at OU under Todd Hamilton’s mentorship.

  • Course records (62 at Detroit Lakes, 65 at Cedar Ridge).

  • Assistant Coach for OU’s powerhouse team (1989–1991).

Todd Graves’ journey began as an 11-year-old ‘wonder’ at Hefner Golf Course in Oklahoma City, where he traded work for practice time. His natural talent earned him four tournament victories in his senior year of high school and a walk-on spot at the University of Oklahoma’s powerhouse golf program. Despite a wrist injury cutting his competitive career short, Todd’s deep understanding of the game led him to become an Assistant Coach for OU and later, a protege of the legendary Moe Norman.

Recognized by Norman himself as ‘Little Moe,’ Todd has dedicated his life to teaching the Single Plane Swing—a simpler, more reliable approach to golf. Over the past 25 years, he has transformed the games of thousands of golfers worldwide through his academy, books, and training programs.
